Australian's tend to be fairly clean, we vacuum our homes (on average) once a week.
Using conventional vacuum cleaners, most of the dirt and dust is sucked up and stored in the vacuum bag. However, depending on quality and age of the bag, some of the finer dust particles are pumped back into the room only to be inhaled by our family.
This "dust" contains dust mites, dirt, pollen and spores. All factors in causing allergies and asthma.
Many people are highly allergic to DUST MITES droppings. When some children are exposed to dust mites, their asthma symptoms appear for the first time. If children already have asthma, dust mites can make them wheeze more and need more asthma medicine.
Dust mites measure about
1/100 of an inch, one gram of dust can contain
500 mites.
Ducted Vacuums are much more powerful than conventional vacuums, cleaning deep down dirt, dust mites, pollen and spores. This dust is then sucked through a network of pipes and usually deposited outside, removing it from the living areas.
The vacuum utilises a “cyclonic” collector, withdrawing the need for expensive bags, Dust & debris is collected in a 30-litre bucket.
Ducted Vacuums are quiet because the motor is located outside the home. Installing a ducted vacuum is relatively easy into most homes, with piping being routed through the ceiling or underfloor and within wall cavities. This is usually performed during home construction, but can also be performed simply to existing homes of solid brick or brick veneer construction.
Quality Italian style floor and furniture vacuum attachment tools and hose are included in the price of your ducted vacuum installation. It is simply then a case of plugging the hose into a Vacuum socket on your wall and the outdoor vacuum unit starts automatically for you.
Floor sweep valves are also avaliable, these permit you to sweep debris up to the valve and then with a flick of your foot, have it “sucked away”, No more dustpan and broom. (Perfect for Café’s & hairdressers).
